Editorial Reviews:
Product Description One of the few books to concentrate on the HCI aspects of software design, this book provides a practical step-by-step guide to user interface design using real world case studies. Includes tutorials explaining how to unravel the complexities of user interface design for groupware and explaining an object-oriented approach to graphical user interface design.

Customer Reviews: A good start for HCI designer May 7, 2000 Hui Li (Tucson, USA) This is a good book if you are beginner and want to have an over view of issues in human computer interaction arena. Assuming you have knowledge on the details of implementation (MVC, etc), this book can help you broaden your GUI design. It is very helpful for me to design a knowledge managment system. Several interesting examples. I rank it as four star. ...elm, if you are interested in HCI and just begin, you may like it.
